To me, this is a very special and sacred time, usually straight after the ceremony. If you wish, I will take you both away for a short period of time to capture beautiful and contemporary portraits of the two of you. A moment to take, that is for the both of you, to savour in the present where the magic is still very much all around you. During this half an hour or slightly longer, I will capture you both in a natural and relaxed state, in the moment, directing where necessary but very much letting the moment unfold naturally. I will never pose you up in an awkward or dated manner, imagine more of a fashion editorial, free-flowing and simple.

I might take you on a walk and capture you hand in hand, in conversation, asking you to embrace every so often, so things do not feel too staged. I will look for fitting backdrops and on this short journey to celebrate the bond you have with one another, the spark, the very thing that makes you unique. I will always be sure to get the most from this time, working quickly and efficiently as I am fully aware that you need to get back to your guests and enjoy a glass of champagne.
